How it all began
My love for building brands has been around forever.
Seriously. Ask my parents about 12-year old Lauren’s “Phlower Photos by Paige.” For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a natural brand builder, entrepreneur, and storyteller.
Outside of work (but really, during it too) — I’m a wife to a martial artist and a mom to two little girls, Avery and Skylar. I’m also known to over-indulge in a good latte (or two) and am the co-owner of a hair clip shop (LD Threads) with my childhood best friend.
Fast forward 10 years and I was producing video content for big brands.
I got my start in the corporate world as a producer for lifestyle brands like Martha Stewart Living, Refinery29, and Spoon University. And as my career grew? So did my passion for brand storytelling and my expertise in social strategy.
In 2018, I tapped back into my inherent entrepreneurial energy and started Magenta Media, a boutique creative studio catering to big brands with big stories to tell. Since then, I’ve worked with 30+ brands to tell their stories through video content production designed not just to stop the scroll on social - but to open wallets too.
And while Magenta Media continues to thrive, grow and scale — I couldn’t ignore the fire in my belly for women-owned small businesses — because for so long, that was me.
In summer 2023 — I launched Own Your Brand, a 6-week group mentorship program that packages nearly two decades of video production expertise into bite-sized, customized strategies for women-owned small businesses.
